1 year, renewable (primarily active during event preparation and execution). Charge:
Plan and coordinate ADS’s 2026 fundraising auction (live and silent), securing donations, handling logistics, and promoting the event. Member Commitment:
2 - 4 hours/month, increasing to 6+ hours in the month prior to the auction.Attend scheduled planning calls.Assist with brainstorming unique packages such as trips, services, and experiences.Assist with gathering item donations, including making phone calls and sending emails to specific desired donors.Review and track donations.Assist on-site with evaluating donated items.Assist post-conference with writing/sending thank-you letters to donors and winners. Eligibility Requirements:
Active ADS member in good standing.Interest/experience in fundraising or auctions. 
 2026 DICAM Planning CommitteeTerm Commitment: Charge:Member Commitment:
Attend planning meetings (monthly or as needed)Determine 2026 DICAM themeAssist with determining materials included in any toolkits created for DICAM2 -5 hours/month commitment, more during event lead-up.Actively promote DICAM campaign on social media.Assist with determining key influencers to approach for DICAM promotion.Assist in reviewing Annual Conference PowerPoint slides during December and January; timely turnaround will be necessary to meet deadlines. Eligibility Requirements:
Active ADS member in good standing.Interest/experience in dental infection control or education.Interest/experience in social media and email marketing.Interest/experience in influencer relations. 
 2026 Global Membership CommitteeTerm Commitment: Charge:
Promote global membership, build relationships, and support international members through translating educational materials into various languages. Member Commitment:
2 - 3 hours/monthParticipate in global outreach initiatives and meetings. Eligibility Requirements:
Active ADS member in good standing.Interest/experience in international engagement preferred. 
 2026 Marketing CommitteeTerm Commitment: Charge:
Help shape strategic external communications, marketing, and related activities through involvement in a broad variety of ongoing and special projects in the areas of public relations, media relations, and content development, among others. Member Commitment:
Attend bi-monthly meetings.2 - 4 hours/month for planning and content creation.Actively promote ADS initiatives on social media. Eligibility Requirements:
Active ADS member in good standing.Interest/experience in marketing and/or public relations.Interest/experience in social media and email marketing. 
 2026 Membership CommitteeTerm Commitment: Charge:
Recruit, retain, and engage ADS members, including:
Academic I & II (faculty and staff at dental, dental hygiene, and dental assisting schools)BasicNon-Profit (board, committee, and staff members of oral healthcare-related nonprofit organizations)Practice I & II (team members in private oral healthcare practices, large-group dental practices, and DSOs)Premium Member Commitment:
Attend monthly meetings.2 - 3 hours/month for recruitment/outreach activities.Assist with renewal communications; timely communication is necessary to adhere with membership expiration dates. Eligibility Requirements:
Active ADS member in good standing.Interest/experience in membership recruitment and retention.Passion for community building. 
 2026 Student Membership CommitteeTerm Commitment: Charge:
Engage with student members, develop student-centered initiatives, and promote ADS to students, including students outside the US and Canada.  Member Commitment:
2 - 3 hours/month for recruitment/outreach activities.Participate in student outreach initiatives and meetings. Eligibility Requirements:
Active ADS member in good standing (students may be included).Interest/experience in supporting student engagement. 
 2026 Webinar Review CommitteeTerm Commitment: 
1 year, aligned with the webinar planning cycle. Renewable based on interest and performance. Charge:
Evaluate and approve proposed webinars, provide feedback for content and quality improvement. Member Commitment:
Finalize slate of presentations (may be done via 1 - 2 Zoom meetings, or via email)Assist in reviewing webinar PowerPoint slides monthly via email; a timely turnaround will be necessary to meet deadlines.Serve as moderator for live webinars, which includes introducing speakers and monitoring Q&A (~1.25 hours per webinar) Eligibility Requirements:
Active ADS member in good standing.Recognized infection prevention expertise.Able to represent at least 1 ADS member group (academia, consulting, corporate, dental practice, Federal Services, health clinics, etc.)Willing to work collaboratively. 
 2027 Annual Conference Planning CommitteeTerm Commitment: 
1 year, aligned with the 2027 Annual Conference planning cycle (starts summer 2026). Renewable based on interest and performance. Charge:
Sets the 2027 agenda, selects speakers, chooses topics, and conducts a review of all PowerPoint presentations to ensure ADA CERP compliance. Member Commitment:
Bi-weekly Zoom meetings in summer/fall; then as needed after the agenda is setAssist in reviewing Call for Proposals submissions in Fall 2026.Assist in reviewing Annual Conference PowerPoint slides during April/May; timely turnaround will be necessary to meet deadlines. Eligibility Requirements:
Active ADS member in good standing.Previously attended the Annual Conference.Recognized infection prevention expertise.Able to represent at least 1 ADS member group (academia, consulting, corporate, dental practice, federal services, health clinics, etc.)Willing to work collaboratively.Must attend Zoom meetings.Planning to attend the 2027 Annual Conference.
