ADS Foundation 

The ADS Foundation is an educational foundation that supports education, research, service, and policy development to promote safety and the control of infectious diseases in dental care settings worldwide. Contributions to the Foundation, a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, are deductible for computing income and estate taxes. The tax identification number for the ADS Foundation is 52-1963109.

OSAP-DANB-DALE Foundation Collaboration

ADS, the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB), and the DALE Foundation are working on a comprehensive dental infection control education and credentialing initiative. The collaboration includes four elements:

1. ADS-DALE Foundation Dental Infection Prevention and Control Certificate™
2. Certified in Dental Infection Prevention and Control^® (CDIPC^®)
3. Dental Industry Specialist in Infection Prevention and Control^® (DISIPC^®)
4. A series of jointly developed interactive online Continuing Dental Education Articles™.

All funds go directly to the development of this important initiative for patient and provider safety.

ADS-DANB-DALE Foundation Andrew Whitehead Education and Certification Scholarship

The OSAP-DANB-DALE Foundation Andrew Whitehead Education and Certification Scholarship will be launched in 2024 and will provide infection prevention and control education and certification to dental professionals. Scholarship recipients will receive access to the educational materials and will have the certification exam fees covered, enabling them to become Certified in Dental Infection Prevention and Control^® (CDIPC^®) or Dental Industry Specialist in Infection Prevention and Control^®(DISIPC^®) certified.
