CE Mission

To empower the oral health care community through evidence-based education, training, and credentialing to deliver safe dental visits.

CE Goals

  1. Increase engagement in currently available evidence-based educational programs and resources.
  2. Craft dynamic learning pathways that address target audiences’ ascending levels of experience in dental infection prevention and safety.
  3. Develop innovative educational programs, using the most effective formats available, to improve the knowledge, skills, and abilities of dental health care personnel (DHCP), educators, trainers, other healthcare workers, and the dental trade to deliver safe dental care and prevent infection control breaches.
  4. Increase market penetration of the Dental Infection Prevention and Control Certificate™ program, the Dental Industry Specialist in Infection Prevention and Control® (DISIPC®), and the Certified in Dental Infection Prevention and Control®(CDIPC®).

Learning Level

To help you choose the best possible learning experience, OSAP offers three learning levels, allowing you to explore what is relevant, what provides key takeaway application, and what stretches and challenges you. This structure guarantees that the content you select is appropriate for your level of experience with the subject matter.

  • Beginner - Appropriate for those with limited experience of the subject who are seeking an introductory understanding of the content area.
  • Intermediate - Appropriate for those with some experience who are seeking to build on, apply, or enhance existing knowledge using content in practical applications to master concepts.
  • Advanced - Appropriate for those with substantial prerequisite knowledge who are seeking the most up-to-date information to heighten expertise.
